This Sunrise Session is complementary to the symposium scheduled later in the day on ‘Using PAT Effectively’. Multivariate analysis is a statistical tool that can be used to increase product/process understanding and thereby facilitate control. Additionally, data generated from experiments executed during drug product development can be mined using multivariate analysis techniques to extract information about interactions between multiple process and product variables. The objective of this session is to introduce concepts of various multivariate analysis techniques for effective analysis of collected data, and use for process control.
